PROMPTED – Learning Yourself: Post 31

Posted December 1, 2025 by berrywinters_zfqs1i in Prompted / 0 Comments

These are prompts from some other place besides a book that ask to examine certain aspects of yourself. I will not have created these prompts myself, so I want to pay respect that they came from somewhere.

This months’ prompts are going to be coming from this substack that I recently started following:

What kind of person do you hope to be walking into the new year?

As I get closer to walking into the new year, I hope I am the kind of person that continues to feel that I should help others. I hope that I am a kind person that recognizes that while I have to pour into other people’s cups that I also have to pour into my own. I hope I am the kind of person that chooses to be healthy and reminds myself that being healthy does not just include going to the doctor, but having a life worth living. Being authentic and making decisions that are coming from lived truths is vital to happiness. I want to keep reminding myself of this. I want to be the kind of person that lives and does not simply exist because I was born into this world. There is a difference between just existing for others and living a life of happiness. I have been moving towards happiness, but it is still a journey and due to that I am hoping I am the kind of person that doesn’t give up on myself as I am just starting to love the version that I am. I hope I am the kind of person that walks into 2026 as not just a fake resolution person, but as the person I have been in 2025 that is making real changes to mold life into what I want it to be. I can be happy and it will happen as I continue to be the kind of person that I want to be.
